During the presentation, we will discuss the role that psychology plays in understand and improving UX, specifically considering how psychological principles can be used to evaluate user behavior, attitudes, and motivations. Additionally, we will review the process for planning sound UX research that results in actionable deliverables.

Diem is an I/O Psychologist, PhD with a focus on human factors, specifically human computer interaction and service design. I am a hybrid organizational development (OD) and user experience (UX) consultant who has spent the past 10 years investigating human experience (user, employee, job candidate, customer, leadership, ect.) to drive decision making for large scale system and workforce development efforts that improves processes, services, websites, applications, and products for end-users. I specialize in strategy and test development with experience in healthcare, e-commerce, government, and technology..
