Why Punch? There will be a lot of questions running into the head of the reviewers and would also be wondering why punch. What is the use or relevance of punch in Scrum gathering as we are not here to discuss about any upcoming sports events to be held or organised?
No worries! Let me drive you through the journey of punch in scrum. Let’s think how punch is being formed. Punch is being formed on a single hand using 5 fingers. If we accumulate 5 fingers together of our hand, then punch is being formed and we can deliver a great value. Now imagine, what if any of the finger out of 5 is injured or it is missing? Bit scared right, as there are many tasks which we perform day in and day out using all the fingers together or as an individual of the same hand, in which we might struggle for those tasks. Correct?
Now same way, we will not be able to deliver the value to the project or the team using scrum if we compromise on anyone of the 5 scrum values from ‘Commitment’, ‘Courage’, ‘Focus’, ‘Openness’ and ‘Respect’. Entire scrum team is responsible to adhere to these 5 scrum values to achieve flawless and seamless experience within the team for the project while we guys are working remotely.
By sticking to the basics of these 5 scrum values helped us in ‘Conducting highly effective Scrum events and helped our entire team members to ensure every meeting were effective in a remote setup’.
