Event Details

Agile Coach Dana Pylayeva created this game in 2015, and we’ll be playing the shortest (75-minute) version of it. The game simulates software product development activities over the course of three Sprints, within and among one or more Scrum teams, an IT Operations team, and various business stakeholders. During the simulation, the goal is for the members of the ChocolateLegoScrum.com organization to deliver as much business value as possible, while overcoming various obstacles. Some of the challenges game participants will face include how to handle situations where the goals of the three major groups (Development, Operations, and Product) are not aligned. Some of the techniques participants will use to overcome challenges include minimizing the batch size of work items, releasing more frequently, and improving flow both internal to the team, as well as across the different business functions.
