Event Details

The space between trigger and response can be very small, especially when you hold a colleague in contempt or you feel passionately about a topic. Coding in-the-moment is a way of checking your response, asking a couple of Clean Questions to accept and then extend what you’ve just heard and only then to code it and make a choice about how you want to respond next. A fantastic skill for any time you want to create some hangtime between stimulus and response in agile teams.

Learning outcomes
3 Clean Questions to accept and extend a conversation or contribution. 3 codes to identify. 3 choices to make to accept and extend the coded contribution in agile teams.

Caitlin Walker
Caitlin Walker PhD took the innovative work of David Grove in the late 1990’s and has created systemic modelling tools that are effective in diverse contexts, from teens outside of the school system to board level decision makers, from police video interviewing to uncovering excellence in performance across an organisation. Although she works internationally in corporations she still spends around a third of her time in community based interventions where these approaches were first developed.
