Presentation details:

Here at Capital One, we believe in not only pushing ourselves to excellence but also staying in touch with the community to improve the area around us.

In an effort to give back to the teaching and school community, we have launched a new initiative to bring Agile to the classroom.

Agile for Learners has worked with teachers in our area to develop key pilot programs for teachers and students alike to learn Agile and Scrum to push themselves further at school.

The mission of Agile for Learners is to inspire students and teachers by educating, mentoring, and empowering them to be successful with project-based learning and improve their communication skills using Agile while incorporating Virginia’s 5 Cs.

This opportunity will provide hands-on experience with Agile and Scrum to show how it may be used in your classroom and school to assist both you and your students learn or conquer any project ahead of you

“Using Agile principles and techniques at the central office and school levels has transformed how we go about our daily work in public K-12 education. Our communication silos have lessened, and our efficiencies have increased”

– Dr. Sharon E Pope, Chief Academic Officer, CCPS
