Bees are vital for our existence and are officially now the most important living thing on earth–that is why we’ve written a children’s audio/picture storybook all about Phoebe the Bee. It’s a story of her courage and determination to save the hive in today’s troubled times, and it teaches children (3-10 years) what she needs from us to achieve this.

In her session, Tales from Mother Earth and Our Agile Journey, Jenny Bailey explains how their venture started and what called them to action. We’ll look at the team dynamics and how remote working with servant leadership has allowed us to make something really special. We’ll also touch on the agile values and consider the benefits of working in this way. Lastly, we’ll look at the impact our books can have on children, the value within them, and also our mission as to why it is so important to us.

Jenny Bailey is the Co-Founder and Author of Tales from Mother Earth. As a mother of two young boys, she is very aware of the importance of conservation and doing all she can to nurture and encourage the next generation. Her love of nature started as a child when she was exposed to and learned to treasure wildlife, marveling in its diversity, beauty, and accessibility. It was something she wanted to share with her own children.

Turning away from my career in the corporate world has given her the freedom and opportunity to follow her passion in conservation, which has allowed her to develop and grow Tales from Mother Earth. She believes that by working with like-minded individuals and organizations, much more can be achieved and the lasting change we are all hoping for can be reached.
