We’re (re-)reading a classic, “The Principles of Product Development Flow” by Don Reinertsen. [Amazon: https://tinyurl.com/9xctyx5d ; you can also read for free on scribd: https://tinyurl.com/y24w4tsv ] I say re-reading but this may have been before we started taking discussion notes, as I can’t locate them. If you’ve got a set, please send them to [masked] and I’ll publish them.
The hardcover book appears to be inexplicably out of print and VERY expensive, we will not reimburse for that one. Try scribd, and if you find it as valuable as I think you will, get the Kindle version or start cruising the used book stores. Also, the waterfall on the cover is a truly unfortunate image, try not to see it.
We’ll review the first 3 chapters (stretch goal: 4) at our August 5th meeting, and pick a goal then for August 19th. There is a LOT of great content here, I’m confident we’ll need a 3rd session September 2nd, and likely a 4th session September 16th
We will pick the next book the same session we complete this one.

We’ll anchor our discussion in Zoom [https://zoom.us], keep notes as we have done in Google Docs (see Discussion Notes below). We are using Mural (https://mural.co) to organize the discussion. If you’re unfamiliar with Zoom or Mural, please go play with them a bit before we meet, and be on time (6pm) so you can acquaint yourself with our specific workflows. Mural and Zoom both run on browsers alone, but for a better experience we suggest you download and install the Zoom application on your Win or Mac PC.
We organize our discussion by posting up to three (real or virtual) sticky notes per person on the (real or virtual) whiteboard. Even if you’re fully conversant with the process, please log into the meeting early enough to post your stickies by 6:20pm; we’ll then select the first few topics and start the discussion by 6:30. Try to finish eating by 6:30 as well.

About Book Club
We meet most months the 1st and 3rd Thursdays, so you can put that in your calendar. When we resume physical meetings we’ll feed you, and if you come to most of the sessions, we’ll even reimburse you for the book, so save that receipt.
We have not recorded Book Club sessions in the past, nor are there plans to do so in the near future. However, that could change:
