Please join Joanne as she interviews one of our Agile Worlds thought leader, Lyssa Adkins. Joanne and Lyssa met on a journey to Utah to discuss Lyssa’s passion on how Agilists can help with scientists and front line workers in Climate Change. The conversations were about her deep passion for Climate Change and how individuals in agile can utilize their skills in this space.
This interview will discuss how Wicked Problems and Agile can work together in Climate Space and other Wicked Problems of the world.
The 60 minutes interview will comprise of a 30 minutes interview and 30 mins Q&A from the audience.
Background of Lyssa and Joanne
Lyssa Adkins is a coach, facilitator, teacher and inspirer.
She believes that conscious leaders make healthy choices and is dedicated to improving the range of top leadership teams to help make that so. She has been a passionate player in the emergence of agile coaching as a profession and is the author of Coaching Agile Teams. She recently narrated the groundbreaking book, Lead Together, because she sees it as an important guide to help leaders “walk the walk” of 21st century leadership. All of this work is related to the key question on her heart: “What do Agilists know how to do and be that would be a net benefit for planetary-level challenges such as climate change?”
Joanne Stone is a coach (of many hats – leader, team, agile, business and personal), a leader, a community builder, and passionate about the power of teams engaged in wicked, gnarly problems.
She firmly believes that the world of Agile can create hope in working with Wicked Problems by providing the experience of teams, leaders, individuals and knowledge with working with the unknown. Joanne is an Expert Agile Coach, and Coactive Leadership Coach. She has established the Agile TO Mentorship Program to bridge the gap between new Agilists and experienced ones. Over 500 mentees have gone through her program. She is an avid learner and loves to give back to the community. Her passion is around harnessing the power of passion, leadership, teams, and wicked problems to create more hope in this world together.
