Agile Estimation Workshop – Agile Coaching DC

Agile Estimation was the last Meetup of the summer for us but it was awesome! Very lively group in attendance. Steve Moubray has lead this Estimation Workshop for 100’s of people and everyone enjoys it. Look at the smiling faces for this event.

We covered a few things with Agile Estimation including:

1. Why PERT doesn’t work (it’s from 1950)
2. Why comparing things to other things is better
3. Why using Agile Poker is a great way to avoid cognitive bias

While I deliver a presentation during the Agile Estimation Workshop, it’s mostly voice over and using the custom printed estimation cards is more practical. I’m happy to deliver the workshop again.
